Dr. Ryan: At Aurora office, I’m very proud of our staff, from the front desk to the hygienist, to the assistants. Everyone is excellent and they truly care about our patients. And they all have that same goal in mind is that we want patients for life, and we wanna see people again and build that relationship because it is a difficult thing to find a dentist that you can see consistently.
Dr. Scott: And one thing that’s really important to me is not just telling a patient what they need to have done, but educating them about the different procedures, the pros, the cons, and hopefully, allow them to make a well-informed decision about the treatment option that’s best for them.
Female Speaker 1: Dr. Scott, like he sees his patients as friends. He cares about them. He looks at them like family. I mean, he’s made reference to his mother several times, “Well, I did this on my mother, and she had this experience.” And he just makes you feel like you’re a part of that. His decision comes from kindness. It’s not about money, it’s not about wanting to do this or that. It’s about, is this the best thing for you?
Female Speaker 2: Candid, it has changed a lot for me. I used to not really smile, you know, kind of self-conscious of the crowding in my teeth. It gave me a lot of self-confidence. Even my husband noticed that I smile more and I’m not hiding my teeth.
Female Speaker 3: When I was a kid going to dentist appointments, they were always somehow traumatic. Dr. Ryan has been so patient with the early appointments and even to now just telling me it’s okay, being very encouraging. Every single person I’ve met here at the front desk, and the dental hygienist, and the schedulers, and everyone I’ve come into contact with has also been very patient. And I’ve gotten to the point now where not only do I not cry at every dentist appointment, I just kind of look forward to it.
Male Speaker 1: To have a place like this to come to that is so modern and nice, and super close to the last one, it just means a lot to have quality care in Alaska. And so if you can find that, you gravitate to that, that’s what you stay with. And this is absolutely that. It’s quality care in its finest.
Female Speaker 4: When I came to Dr. Scott, the teeth were not in very good shape. One thing he did say is that those six teeth are my smile. That was one important thing to him was my smile. And it made me think about it. And I was like, “You’re right.” So here’s my smile. Dr. Scott did that for me.
